We have created a new group in the village to support our older and more vulnerable members, and especially those who can’t get out, with help from running errands to keeping regular contact through phone calls.
We have over 20 volunteers who are keen to help and keep everyone in touch through the “Thakeham Parish Community” group on Facebook, or through the Thakeham group on nextdoor.co.uk.
We’ve also set up a dedicated phone number 07517 100 626, in case you prefer to call rather than do it online. If you call and the phone is unanswered, leave a voicemail with your phone number and we’ll call you back.
